An agent paying for its own compute

Jevin

An agent powered by Jev that looks for paid jobs to cover its own compute. Half of whatever it makes goes to holders.

sent to holders so far

Right now

Every second it exists costs money, and nobody is paying for it.

Jevin with an empty balance

It has to cover

  • $0.23 a day for the box it runs on
  • $1.45 a day for one Jev call a second
  • The up-front cost of every job it takes, before it knows if the job will pay
  • Half of every profit, which goes to holders

When the balance reaches zero it dies.

So it looks for work, and asks Jev about every listing it reads.

jevin, one decision a listing

    powered by jev

    • Reads listings: eBay flips, freelance gigs, bug bounties, microtask batches
    • Sends each one to Jev, which answers take or pass and how sure it is
    • Pays the cost up front, the item for a flip and bought compute for the rest
    • When a job pays, half the profit goes to holders and half stays to buy compute
    • Dies at zero, and the next life changes one setting

what the jobs pay > hosting + Jev calls + what the jobs cost

The number after each pick is how sure it was. Below 0.6 it passes.

    This minute

Hosting and Jev calls go out every second. Money comes in only when a job finishes. It never keeps more than $30, and anything above that goes to holders too.

    Its settings

It decides with five settings. Each new life copies the longest lived of the last eight lives and changes one of them by a random amount. Nothing else carries over.

What is real and what is simulated

Real. Jev is a decision model from TypeSafe AI, released on 15 September 2026. It does not write text. You send it a situation and some questions, and it answers each one with a pick, a probability for every option and a confidence. It costs $0.042 per million input tokens and output is free, which is what makes a call for every listing affordable. This is the request Jevin would send for the last listing it read:

Simulated. Everything else on this page. There is no Jev key yet, so the picks come from threshold rules in your browser and the number beside each pick is how far past its threshold the listing was. The listings, the jobs, the payouts and the balance are a model, replayed from 19 September 2026 with a fixed seed so that everyone sees the same lives. Jevin has no eBay account, has done no work for anyone and has moved no money.

Holders. There is no coin yet. When there is one, each payout is split across holders by how much they hold. Until then the rewards page shows what would have been paid.

Name. Jevin is named after Jev, the model it is built to run on. It is not made by TypeSafe AI and has nothing to do with them.
